What information is Mallard Point Resort collecting about its visitors and how is this information being used?
IP addresses and Server Log Data: When a computer requests a page from within one of our websites, our webserver automatically records the computer's domain name and IP Address. Every computer that has access to the Internet, has an IP Address. Our webserver automatically records your IP Address as well as other Server Log Data:
1. The IP Address of the website that referred you directly to any of Mallard Point Resort websites or services.
2. Your personal computer's IP Address.
3. The Operating System that you may be using. For example, Windows® XP/Vista or Macintosh® OSX.
4. The Internet Browser you are using. For example, Internet Explorer® or Mozilla Firefox®.
5. The search terms you used to find our website through a search engine, online directory, or link directories to our website.
6. The number of and specific pages you viewed on our website.
7. The information you may have downloaded from our website or the images you viewed.
8. The total amount of time you spent on any single page.
We use the above information to observe visitor traffic/usage and to ensure maximum compatibility with browsers and operating systems. We also use the above information to measure the success or failure of various Advertising Programs that we may be participating in.
Online Form Data: For the purpose of generating a price quote for customer projects or for general inquiries, we collect data using online forms. Upon submission of these forms, the information is automatically emailed to Mallard Point Resort. The information is stored on our local office computers and not stored on our webserver.
We maintain a strict "No Spam" policy and will never rent, sell, or give your email address to third party companies without your consent.
Emails: If you send Mallard Point Resort any personal information by email, we will never rent, sell or give your information or email address to a third party without your consent. Mallard Point Resort does not send unsolicited email.
Will Mallard Point Resort. disclose any of the information collected from our webserver logs, online forms, or email correspondence to Third Parties?
We may disclose your personal information collected by law if we are required to do so or we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to (1) comply with the law or legal process; (2) to protect and defend the rights and property of Mallard Point Resort ; (3) to protect against the misuse or unauthorized use of our websites, services, emails, images, designs, or computers; (4) protect the personal safety of our users or the public. False information provided about your identity may be disclosed as part of an investigation into your actions.
Mallard Point Resort websites and services are not targeted towards children. Mallard Point Resort is committed to comply with any applicable laws and/or requirements, such as the United States' Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. No information, collected or submitted to us from anyone including children, is sold, rented or given to Third Parties. Any information submitted by children will be deleted immediately.

We are not responsible for any breach of security or any actions taken by third parties to intercept or obtain the information collected by Mallard Point Resort. Mallard Point Resort links to various other websites, and we are not responsible for the content or Privacy Policies of those or any other third party websites. Mallard Point Resort is not responsible for any of the content placed by our customers or third parties on websites designed, maintained or hosted by Mallard Point Resort.
